“And the winner of the ‘Fastest AP Merchandise Design’ contest is… Joe, from the College Program!! Congrats Joe, you came up with this design in 2 minutes, well done!! We here at TDO want nothing but the best for our beloved and cherished Annual Passholders and that’s what Joe produced for us!”

That design is god-awful. Which oddly/sadly is on-brand these days. Whoever designed it and whoever approved it should both be fired.

Instead of wasting valuable resources/time on these designs, why don't they put effort into park-specific merch that APs are willing to purchase? The parks are filled with Etsy shirts... why not capitalize on that market?

Give APs exclusive pre-sale access at an unused location, artificially creating demand, and then selling to the average park guests.

Look, they spent about 10 minutes doing this, what more do you want from these people???

What I would love to get some AP merch that doesn't have the world "Passholder" in a big font em-blazed on it. I asked Sam to do something about this but, as usual, he did nothing.

How I wish they would come out with classier park stuff for passholders. Let’s have a polo for the four parks with their logos stiched on them, or stitched hoodies, an obscure park ride t-shirt like Spaceship Earth, Muppets Vision, Country Bears, etc. Make something us nerds would eat up, and have a small Passholder logo on the sleeve.

That would require creativity and vision.

And, knowing Disney merchandising, cost $149 per polo, minimum. 🤦‍♂️

$120 with the discount, if it was a dry fit that’s sadly not that much of a mark up. Golf courses and resorts charge more then that.

Knowing TDO, they'd make garish polo's, like with the tiles of Spaceship Earth printed all over or one with Muppet characters splashed loudly all over. Nothing would be subtle.

Can you picture a simple gray or blue/gray gradient dry-fit polo with a small embroidered SSE logo on the chest and "Passholder" in a blue or gray elegant font on one sleeve? Or a maroon colored one for the ToT? A blue polo with the WEDWay PeopleMover logo for MK? You wouldn't be able to find them because they'd be snapped up as soon as they were available. Instead, we get a 3rd grader-inspired t-shirt.
