Hey kids:

I don't often post over in this area, and I did a search and didn't find this anywhere, and a scan of the net doesn't show this, so I thought I would pose a question.

What series' do you think are going to be offered this year for the Walt Disney Treasures Collection series??

I'm thinking maybe Chip and Dale? A possible solution to the Song of the South Contreversy could be to release it in the Walt Disney Treasury with maybe some other shorts... of course this is all speculation, I haven't talk to Leonard yet to find out, we be ti-eeght!

Later!

Wow, that is great news for "Song of the South" fans. I hope it is true. It was a wonderful movie.

I am also interested in the "Your host" and "Hardy Boys" sets. I was always really more interested in Disney's live-action stuff from the '50s and '60s more than I was the animated material. Good to see some discussions on these (on the upcoming "gy Dog" special edition), involving Tommy Kirk, Kevin Corcoran, and Tim Considine. They must have had a special childhood, working (and playing) all day on the old Disney lot. Jodie Foster said, in an interview on another DVD, that it really was special growing up on the Disney lot. They (in the '70s) were really purposeful about providing a child-friendly and safe environment for the child actors on the studio. And I would imagine that it might have been even more special for the kids who worked there during the early years and knew Walt Disney personally.

I hope they do the 'Your Host' Disney treasure. I love the episodes of disneyland that have Walt hosting the show. They are really enjoyable.

Take care,
Greg
