ETA: Now I see the thread down there. Sorry for the repeat!
Did anyone else catch the "sneak preview" of it?
What did you think?
I thought it was well done. I liked how the fireworks coordinated with the themes of what types of movies they were showing on the waterfall movie screens.
The show is basically 100 years of Universal themed with 100 years of horror, 100 years of laughter, etc... They have waterfall movie screens (I think 3 of them?) dispersed across the water so there are several spots you can watch from and get a good view. The screens flash up 100 years of ____ and then clips that represent that genre. The types of fireworks in some way reflect the theme of that genre- for example, during the laughter portion, the water/lights were bright colors and the fireworks were cheerful, vibrant fireworks. During the 100 years of horror, the fireworks were sharper, deep red, "crisper" fireworks.
I thought it was fun to see how many of the movies you could name. It kind of reminds me of the end of The Great Movie Ride at HS when you see all the movies flash up on the screen.
