A blight? I love the autopia! It’s classic Disneyland charm. I liked the one in Paris as well. It’s just the speedway that needs attention.

I’ve mentioned it before - but they need to make something that can go back and forth on the peoplemover track at the entrance just to give the space kinetics - like what islands of adventure did when they couldn’t run the suess trolley 1.0
Oh that’s just a observation from watching videos online the magic kingdom one gives me a headache I can only assume it’s just as bad if not worse in Disneyland because the gasoline fumes have been building up for an extra 16 years hopefully ours gets changed to electric cars soon

They'd probably use MacinTalk to voice him (AUTO was MacinTalk so...)

Tim Curry voicing a robot is the main appeal of his character.
Alright then maybe he can be shoehorned into the carousel of progress the scene in the dark could take a wildly different turn…mwa ha ha

The AE/Stitch space needs to be S.I.R.'s own attraction where he's basically Bishop from Aliens (given Bishop later voiced Brainiac...) He's more on the good side here, but still neutral.
I was making a joke sorry but I wouldn’t get my hopes up for anything alien encounter themed of course time will tell.

They are close -

WDW: carousel, monsters, buzz, people mover, Astro orbiter, speedway, tron, space mountain

Disneyland: Space Mountain, Star Tours, Buzz, Autopia, Submarines, Monorail, Astro Orbiter

Both have closed theatre / attraction space.
MK has one shuttered area: stitch. DL has Peoplemover, magic eye theater, former space place restaurant, skeleton of rocket jets and the carousel theater is a waste, plus pizza planet in the former mission to mars attraction.

Nothing for a long time, its as far down the list as imagination. Sadly I dont even think the stitch space will be used till they just gut all of those buildings. Its so sad, the opening of Tron was the perfect time to update things and maybe add a few things.

With this management group in charge I could see those buildings being razed all together, but then that would be the end of the peoplemover too...don't put it past them.

Maybe it’s the wall-e fan in me but I’m predicting major influence from that film.
Oh yeah...."So much"......

The disclosure of all the alien/ UFO files from the 1940s and more recent to be made public, and the upcoming arrival of Aliens ( which some say is the reason for the recent interest and large scale public acceptance of the possibility of UFOs ) should give Dis lots of fodder for Tomorrowland.
How about a huge space saucer pavilion and bring back a gentler Alien Encounter attraction.
