New to Pin Trading ???s

We are leaving for Disney World in two weeks. My daughter is seven, and I just stumbled upon the pin trading phenomenon! Looks like fun! I supposed I should get her a lanyard and some pins with which to trade.....

I don't want to do auctions tho, does anyone recommend any places to get some pins and a lanyard (cannot seem to find these at all) on line? Do the Disney stores carry them?

Is this something she will enjoy? or is it mostly older folks like me! LOL!

I think your seven year old girl will love it! The Disney Store very rarely have pins and/or lanyards. WDW has them everywhere.

You can sometimes find knock off lanyards at Wal Mart, but that may only apply to the Orlando area. Make sure to visit www.odpt.com

:sohappy: Thanks...I tried that site and could not find anything that was not an auction...altho there was good info. I actually went to RiverTami.com and got her the Americana starter set with lanyard and 8 pins for $29 which I felt was a good deal. I got her the new Tinkerbell with sparklers pin as well. That should keep her busy I think!

Now I am trying to find a creative way to give it to her...perhaps a cast member would give it to her? We are staying at the Poly....any ideas?
