Hi everyone my name is Steven and I've been a member of this forum for quite some time but have never been able to post since I lost my internet connection way back when, and now I finally upgraded:)

Well, any who I am 20 years young and took my first trip Walt Disney World in 2009 with my girlfriend. She has been there ever since she was a young girl, for many many years and was shocked that I've never visited Florida in general. As this was my first time during February vacation 2009 I was in a craze to find out information about this magical place that everyone talks about, that I've never experienced before. In my findings I came across this site, what an amazing site this is by the way kudos to the creator. Reading for hours and hours a day requesting the free vacation planning dvd's, free maps, etc. The day finally came.

Figures my first trip to Florida, we drove through one of the biggest snow storms(what a ride that was). After a brutal 22 hour or so drive we finally arrived into "sunny" Orlando Florida...Greeted with 2 days of non stop rain. The second day we were in Florida we visited Downtown Disney even with the rain pouring down there was nothing like seeing the Walt Disney World welcome sign, I was in total awe. Looking all around me I thought to myself, this place really is its own world. We enjoyed an entire day in Downtown Disney it seems as if it never got old and continued to find more and more activities to keep us occupied.

It was the next morning and it was time to experience Disney World in full effect, Epcot.

*I am planning on going to bed due to work tomorrow morning, I will continue the rest of my first time in Walt Disney World experience at a later time. It's nice to finally meet you all and hope to chat with Disney lovers like soon!:sohappy:

Continued*

It was the next morning and it was time to experience Disney World in full effect, Epcot. Driving through Walt Disney World for the full time was an amazing experience that I will never forget. As we reached the parking entrance it all became so unreal to me, monorails passing back and forth constantly, I thought to myself, "Is Disney really this big?" Sure enough, I found that out very, very soon. As we parked our car and starting walking to activate our 2010 military 4 day passes, the "magic" finally kicked, and I haven't even stepped one foot inside Epcot. As I walked into the park I was in total awe not knowing what to do first, figures I should have thought it through more but that was the experience of my first time. From the first ride of the creator your'e own virtual coaster, to riding Test Track, to a boat ride with vikings, Epcot was a truly an amazing park with futuristic attractions and wonderful entertainment.
