Hi. My name is Kim and my family (dh, 17 yo dd, 10 yo ds & 24 yo step dd) are going on our first ever family vacation Nov 29 -Dec 4. We are very excited and have a wonderful "travel agent" that is a regular on these boards. Her name is Laura and she has been a wealth of information for me. It also helps that we live close to each other and our kids like playing together.
I tried to go last year to Disney but it didn't work out. But, since I got on their email list, I got an email with a pin # on it about 3 weeks ago and hearing that that is a good deal, I started the ball rolling. I booked the package and now we are planning it. It has been kind of a whirlwind but Laura has been so great. I can't even imagine planning this trip alone, or just going and winging it. Yikes.
If anyone has any great tips and/or ideas for me, I would love to hear them. I am so excited to be going at my favorite time of year especially and can not wait to see all the lights and decorations. We will be staying at the ASM. Thanks ahead of time for any ideas you can give me. Laura has me a spread sheet going that is amazing. If I can figure out how to navigate around this site, I am sure I will get lots more good ideas to add to it.
One thing I would like to ask is...does anyone know when we can start making reservations for the T Rex restaurant? We get there Nov 28 from a long drive and we would love to eat there. I especially want to go since Laura has never been there before. LOL. I could actually do something 'Disney' that she has never done.
