New Tangled Meet-And-Greet Opening Oct. 15

A new Tangled Meet-and-Greet is coming to Fantasyland on October 15, replacing Gepetto's Sweet Shoppe. The Disney Parks Blog shared some concept art for the interior and exterior of the new location:

As you may have heard, Rapunzel from Disney’s upcoming animated adventure, “Tangled,” will appear in theaters this Thanksgiving. She’ll also be greeting guests in Disneyland park for the first time, beginning October 15. And Tom Smith recently announced on the Blog that Rapunzel will also greet guests at Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando.

We’re sharing a first glimpse of concept art created for Rapunzel’s new meet-and-greet location in Fantasyland. As you can see in the image above, Rapunzel’s 70-feet of golden locks will drape luxuriously around the room. Flynn Rider, Rapunzel’s love interest, will also be on hand to meet and greet guests throughout the day.

Rapunzel will be greeting guests in the location that currently houses Gepetto’s Sweet Shoppe.

I wont be going to meet her but I think this is a great idea, the lines for this will be as long as some of the rides round there.

I hope the Tower looks good, since thats what I have been waiting to see.

Flynn unfortunately only comes and goes throughout the day. We just got to meet Rapunzel today when we went.

Just returned from there, the lines for it were actually very short. I think we stood in line for less than 5 minutes... there was no prince when we went through only Rapunzel.... Compared to over 1 hour for Pixie Hollow and nearly 1 hour for the Princesses... or about 30 minutes for the villains.... short lines maybe because the movie isn't out yet.

This past weekend, the people who brought Rapunzel and Flynn Rider to life in the Disney film, “Tangled,” had a chance to meet the characters in Fantasyland at Disneyland park. Mandy Moore, voice of Rapunzel, and Zachary Levi, voice of Flynn Rider, were at Disneyland park doing interviews to celebrate the film’s upcoming release this Thanksgiving.

During their visit, they headed over to Fantasyland to see Rapunzel and Flynn Rider for the first time in the Park. While they were here, we caught up with them to ask a few questions about their exciting new movie.

Flynn unfortunately only comes and goes throughout the day. We just got to meet Rapunzel today when we went.

Yep, we missed him when we stood in line the first time (were lucky it was only a 5 minute line)... when we noticed he was back it was about a 30 minute line... no reason to stand in line because he could have vanished just as we got up there (stood in a 30 minute line for the kids to get Cruella only to have her swapped out on us for the Evil Queen just as we got up there).
