new speakers in tomorrowland

I did a search and nothing came up but I am sorry if this has already been posted. About a month ago a picture was posted of several boxes around the Indy Speedway in Tomorrowland. We had all thought that this was some new way to take a photo of its riders. Well then we never thought about them again! These boxes have become the base for brand new speakers which pumps in area music blocking out the sounds of the cars on the speedway.

I like the idea of the cameras better than speakers. I enjoy hearing the cars go by all of the time. I do not understand why people are always trying to fix what is NOT broken.

I am going down there next week, and I am almost afraid to see just how much has changed in the past few years. Oh, how I long for the days when WDW was what Walt actually had in mind when he built it.

The speakers look nice....it seems that WDW may be on a speaker replacement plan or something, as the Innoventions area got new speakers also.

I could not tell if the speakers were on this last weekend, but it is a step in the right direction.......if I had may way (which I don't ) the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway would be moved over to Yesterland!

The rumors were that they were installed mainly to pipe in Wishes music so it sounded better in that area of tomorrowland.

Actually that is correct Speck. According to the Eyes & Ears (CM newspaper), the speakers in the parks, resorts, and DTD will be changed, and beginning to change as you can see. Right now, they are putting it in to test it in places where the speakers are needed, and according to the artcile, the schedule is the aprks are up first, resorts second, and finally DTD.

This guy has got to be joking. Nobody can get that upset about the replacement of speakers.

And WDW was never what Walt had in mind.
