New Southwest dates

This morning Southwest released booking dates through October 30, 2008.

I went to the site as soon as I received the "Ding". It's amazing that a particular flight can be booked already. The price for the flight I wanted was $143 without fees and there were only 2 seats at that price before it jumped to a higher cost. The price for the next flight of the day was $105.

There's also a 10% discount available on certain flights, book by 21 April:

Purchase must be made between April 18, 2008 and April 21, 2008 for travel August 23, 2008 through October 30, 2008.

Thank you. I did see the 15% off promotion. We're going down to MCO on the 18th and my NY to FL tickets were purchased last month so I can't take advantage of the discount. I grabbed the $105 seats and I'll watch to see if the earlier flight goes down in price as we get closer to our vacation.

Funny, I bought with the 10% discount yesterday, later in the day saw mention of the 15% one. Went to check and one leg of my trip had increased in price enough that it was cheaper when I bought than with the 15% discount.... :shrug:

The 15% off was through Ding. If you don't have Ding, the discount was 10%.
