New Security Set Up At Magic Kingdom

Ok. My family and I are headed to Disney in a few weeks. I see that they're moving security and metal detectors to the TTC. So, we plan to probably arrive by car. Once we arrive at the actual Magic Kingdom park, are we free to go in? Feel free to tatoo the word "Doofus" across my forehead.

not sure of the exact dates but when you arrive by car you get screened at the ticket and transportation center. you then board monorail/boat across the lagoon and then just tap your magicband on the entrance turnstiles once across the water.
The bag check/metal detectors are moving away from the entrance plaza/

Yes the switch will happen on the 3rd and there will be plenty of people talking about it the same day so hold on for a few more days and you will have all the info you could ever want on it.
