New safety spiels on Barnstormer, Tea Cups and Dumbo

Just to let you all know...

They recently put in new recorded English and Spanish safety spiels at the Barnstormer, the Mad Tea Party and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.

They're done in the voices of Disney characters (Goofy at the Barnstormer, Alice and the Mad Hatter at the Tea Cups (Alice does the English spiels, the Mad Hatter does the Spanish ones) and Timothy Mouse at Dumbo).

I'm sure that Bill Farmer (the current voice of Goofy) did the Goofy spiels, Kathryn Beaumont (who almost always voices Alice and also Wendy from "Peter Pan") probably did the Tea Cup spiels and I assume that Corey Burton did the Timothy spiels (since Timothy is one of the many classic Disney characters that Burton voiced on the "House of Mouse" series).

That's a really cute idea to tie in with the rides. Are the spiels the same?

At least if they need to do the spiels they are doing them in character. At least this ties it in to the ride.

They have the same for Adladdin, so I guess there spreading it around to all the rides.

These messages help keep their insurance costs down. It's the same reason all the rides are getting the air gates and have the sign that says stay in your cars in every vehicle.

The Aladdin spiel now has Genie speaking in Spanish. I can't think of any other new spiels right now though.

I call that the "No doing the YMCA in the ride vehicle" sign because it looks like the riders are doing the "c" from the dance.......

I love the new visuals on all the rides as well.. the 2 people 'dancing' as saying, so standing on the rides.. me and my sister love making fun of that sign.. its too funny.

They need to post that at Maniquines, on the revolving dance floor.

That sounds like a great idea. As long as the rides are themed, there's no reason the safety spiels can't be themed as well.

Correction...the safety spiels on Triceratops Spin are done by both Chester and Hester.

The Primeval Whirl safety spiels are also done by Chester and Hester.

Plus, the safety spiel on Journey into Imagination with Figment is done by Dr. Nigel Channing (but the Spanish spiel is done by a generic woman).
