From Screamscape:

2006 - Buzz Lightyear - Rumor - (8/13/04) There have been rumors about adding Buzz Lightyear to one of the Paris parks for some time now, but what may be our first new clue in some time is a rumor that Visionarium may be closing down forever on Sept 6th. Since the same CircleVision style theaters at Tokyo Disneyland was converted into a Buzz Lightyear ride and Disneyland’s is currently under construction, as well as a new version planned for Hong Kong Disneyland, we can only assume that a version is in the works for Paris. Can anyone confirm the closure of Visionarium?

I despise this ride so I hate the though of it being cloned everywhere... I'd much prefer SGE...

Your thoughts?

God no! . Discoveryland needs characters even less than Tomorrowland does! If they want Buzz, put him in The Studios. Le Visionarium is original, and fits into the area so well.

/me goes hunting for large haddock to slap management with.

I've read on a few sites that Le Vis is closing. The debate is if it's going seasonal or if Buzz is indeed coming.
I agree with both of you. Buzz has no place in that space. Put it in the HISTA space beside Star Tours if need be or on the other side of the tracks (where it belongs  ) by the Buzz Pizza Place.

Also I've read that the Studios are getting a cut rate ToonTown with some kid rides and (wait for it) a wild-mouse coaster!
Ya that will help bring up the attendance numbers

This isn't gonna happen, the french are BIG on Jules Verne, every ride (escept for Star Tours) in discoveryland is based on him, his stories or has him in it. No way will they ditch the father of Sci-Fi from France for Buzz lightweight

I see good and bad here. Good - I love the Buzz Lightyear ride and it's a really popular ride and yay! Bad - why does Le Visionarium have to close? Why do they have to take out good things to replace with other things?

Sorry if I sound weird. I just woke up. :D
