New room categories for Boardwalk Inn Club Level in 2016

For those who have stayed Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn before I wanted to say they have changed their room categories for 2016. In the past if you reserved a Standard Club Level Room you would either get a Boardwalk View or a Garden view that overlooks the BWI quiet pool. However next year that is no longer the case. When making a reservation for a Standard Club Level Room that means you will automatically get the Garden View. There is a new room category called Boardwalk View - Club Level which is now more expensive, even though you get the exact same Standard Room.

That was always a fun loophole at BWI Club Level....you paid for a Standard Club Room but could get a Lake View room (which at other Resorts is a lot more money.) It was my understanding, from the Club CMs, that Lake View was never extra b/c there have been many people over the years who were disappointed in the Lake View b/c of the loud cheering, talking, club music, etc. That in actuality the peacefulness of the garden view was preferred to that of the BoardWalk. Although I love the noise, at closing of JellyRolls and Atlantic Dance, there is always a parade of loud folks having fun as they leave. So I could see their point.
