New Ride concept: ATLANTIS

Same type of ride type as Spider-man in Universal Islands of Adventure but based on Atlantis: The Lost Empire. You could have part 3D, part special effects, and part real life scenery, along with some simulation on a track. The story line would be that from the movie, in search for Atlantis. The cars could be shaped as the submarines and you could be underwater and then once inside the caves they would transport you on land in the same machine.

This is all i have right now but i hope to think up more in the future.

I was hoping this could go in the old 20,000 Leagues area.

The ride could start out as a "tour" of Whitmore Industries, the backers of the expedition in the movie. I love the idea of using the same technology from Spider-Man. It would certainly bring something different to MK and use up some wasted space.:drevil:

Yeah, I personally liked Atlantis, but not everybody did. I think people didn't like it as much because it was not really up to par with other Disney movies. I think an Atlantis ride would be pretty neat! Good Idea!

This was being considered by Disney a long time ago, but since Atlantis wasn't a box office smash hit, it won't happen, or at least for now.

i always thought that an Atlantis ride would be amazing... and isnt that the important thing.. i mean Expedition Everest was never a movie and it was made into a ride... and besides if they did makethe ride wouldn't that make people who liked the ride want to go out and buy the movie?

well i was searching the forums and when i saw the atlantis ride idea it reminded me of how amazing a ride like that would be... i have had many nights where i would map the entire ride out in my head... it was a definate missed oportunity in a great ride
