New RFID Annual Passes and the passholder website

Okay - got the nice new RFID AP the first day at Odessy (Mickey design, of course). My old pass was not linked to my Disney pass holder website as it had just been renewed a few days earlier. The problem I now see is that the pass holder website doesn't accept the new type of card yet. There is just one number on the new card and it doesn't fit on any of the accepted ticket types when trying to assign it to my Disney website account. This leaves me with no access to the pass holder room rates.
:(

I'm not the only one unable to assign the new pass, am I? Has anyone heard if a fix is coming? In my opinion, that should have been resolved before they ever started giving the new ones out!

I haven't got one yet, but as I understand it if you add an association to the RFID AP on the My Disney Experience website, it works to include it on the AP site.

I read this on Twitter from Merf:

RFID AP-holders who want to add that AP to their account: Go to your MyDisExp profile via website, "Add Affiliation"

I just had to go through this. The only way to add your pass, if you have your old pass your annual pass # is on there. If not, you have to call 407-939-7765 and they will take your RFID ticket number, they will then have to call guest services to get your other annual pass number to register it on the broken disney experience website. I've created a contact us page on how horrible this new website is and how they are backward thinking their website development (actually lack of thinking).

adding... I can't even log onto the annual passholder site. When I click on the sign in, the site delays for a few moments and then refreshes and never opens up a sign-in page.

I was able to get it added through the method @Monty posted, and my passholder site works. Maybe it's your computer or maybe Disney is A/B(/C/D) testing the site?

I also could not get my new pass to work online, and there was nothing they were able to do from their end to put the correct number into the system -- eh, will try again later...they had the correct number at Passholder Services, so no problem booking resort from there --

Sadly that doesn't work in my case. My profile already has an annual pass affiliation assigned. Unfortunately, it is beyond it's expiration date and there is no option to delete it, replace it or add a new one.

BTW, adding a DVC affiliation also doesn't work via this method if you have an existing DVC member online account. It requires an activation code and DVC can only generate one of you are setting up for the first time.

It's really all kind of a joke this day and age.

So over 4 months later and there is still no resolution for this. :( I purchased a Disneyland annual pass back in January of this year. I went to Walt Disney World in April and upgraded to a premier pass at that time. I tried getting an RFID card but no luck. I went back in May and was able to get a RFID card. I only got around to it now to add my pass to my account. I was going to look for annual pass promotions and see what was on the website specially for those who had an annual pass. I tried entering my pass but no luck. They told me to call a phone number which I did. The lady tried her best to help me but nothing worked. She did say that their web team is aware of the issue and is working on it. I don't understand why some are working and some are not. She told me that was the case.

I did have a copy of my old pass and tried that number but it did not work either.

I hope they can fix this soon.

You would think they would work out all of the bugs for all annual passholders especially those with premier passes. I don't think I will ever get a premier pass again since I only have been to Disneyland once but if I am in a situation where I would want to do that next year (if there are still bugs with this system) I would have to think long and hard about doing it since it has been a nightmare since I had one. When I wanted to convert it everyone kept telling me no problem and then I would show them my pass and they had a look of confusion like they never saw my type of pass before and I was told they couldn't convert mine and questioned the pass.
