Well said.  What if you are park hopping?  You have to make sure that this is the first attraction to go to then?  And whats to stop people with fast passes for soarin already on their magic band from grabbing a paper fast pass too?  The line of people helps to control the demand while allowing anyone to ride it.  There is only so much capacity that ride can handle and they really must be pushing it.  Hopefully Epcot will get a few more highly desired attractions to spread the crowds out or at least that third theater
