I can't recall the last time my family road it and everyone had a working car and blaster... if you were lucky the car and at least 1 blaster would work... The ride should have been completely gutted and reworked a long long time ago. The last trip we really only got on it to see if they had bothered to fix it... they hadn't.

If only the world's most creative entertainment company could come up with a couple attractions that fit a future-forward thematic area...They are driving the bus there...they could create the IP content for a movie and theme park attraction at the same time... and one could feed the other as far as popularity...unless it is both a lousy concept and a lousy attraction.... But again we are talking about Disney, the world leader in entertainment and themed attractions.... that somehow can't seem to do it anymore.....

Imagine how this attraction would look if LIGHTYEAR wasn't a box office dud.

But at minimum this attraction needs: New AA projection, New AA VO. New blasters (different laser colors between players 1 and 2) and new mural decals.

As a bonus: Video projection effects and practical fog bursts at Zurg scene.

Was it you that shared the idea initially? I can't recall but it was a solid idea for improvement. Would make it easier to distinguish each player.
No, it wasn't me.

Having different colors might be a bit dangerous though if people boarding the ride had a color preference. 9like if they tried to switch card or something)

Last year, I saw someone fall when they were getting off the ride, and the fall looked painful.

If they did introduce colors, they might have to make it so that riders don't initially know what color they have, or somehow letting riders choose a color.

Can we power wash the queue?!?! It is absolutely disgusting. I never notice maintenance or upkeep issues at Disney but this ride instantly makes me think “ewww”. Everything about it needs a scrub down and overhaul. But after seeing what they did with the Ant Man concept I dont really want them to try and renovate it.

I'm counting on Elio to be a hit so we can put this ride out of its misery
Since the Orbiter refurbishment is already scheduled, just do the following in whatever order and Tomorrowland will be in way better shape:

Space retrack and queue rework
Carousel finale updates
Cosmic Ray's refurbishment
Stitch -> Elio?
Buzz -> Wreck-It Ralph?
Speedway -> Aquatopia?
General visual touch-ups around the land (continuation of pre-COVID plans)
