New Pricing for Cirque Du Soleil

I just got off the phone with WDW and they are temporarily trying out a 3 tier price schedule for La Nouba. Tier 1 is $82, Tier 2 is $72 and Tier 3 is $59. (adult prices). The third tier seats are on the side, section 201, 207 and back few rows of 202 and 206.
Anyone who has been care to comment on how these seats would be? It sounds like the realitive small size of the theatre (2000) they might not be so bad. Plus it would save almost $100 for our family of four. Love to hear your thoughts.

Well being in the back row isn't bad at all. I prefer it a bit since you don't have to look up as much for the arial acts. Saw a performance this past june in the second to last row of section 203 and loved it!.

Seating map link is:

So I guess you're talking about the yellow area? I would think these wouldn't be terrible, but wouldn't be great either since you might miss some of the acts that are against the back wall. I can think of at least once part that could be partially blocked in section 207.

Yes it would be cheaper but its certainly possible you'ld miss part of the show. So I'd opt for the back rows of in category 2 to save some money but not miss anything.

Thanks for your reply. It sounds like the Tier 2 seats are way to go. I'm already spending so much on the trip that I had pretty much resigned myself to not seeing it but now I'm thinking it woiudl be a great reat for my husband. I've got an 11 year old, do you think he's enjoy it?

Hey i'm happy about any cuts in price....maybe this is a good thing....although they may still appear to be quite expensive, if you've seen the show you know it is definately worth the price!!!:)

Ya know... I'm not sure. My only experience is with children in their late 20's so I'm so sure how its accepted by the younger audience.

Yes he'll love it. It's a circus. It's an artsy circus, but it's still a circus.

The are a few acts that he might find a little slow but it's got all the stuff you'ld expect at a circus. Clowns, highwire acts, trapeez act, bicycle acts, and jugglers... of sorts.

It's not really like a traditional 3 ring circus or anything, but I think he'll definatly enjoy it.

Those Tier 3 seats are the ones that are given out as Comps to CM's and whatnot, as prizes and things like that. As someone who's seen the show 3 times, one of those times in those seats, and I can tell you, those seats are HORRIBLE.

If you've never seen the show, and money is an issue, then it might not be too bad. But, you miss part of the stage, and some of the things going on.

Back rows aren't bad... it's the SIDE that you have to watch out for.

Thanks for the heads up. Amazing that they are now charging $59 for something they normally give away. I think I'll go for the tier 2. Seems crazy to spend $59 for a ticket that has you missing part of the show.

It's not that they normally give them away, rather, when they DO give them away as prizes, those are the seats that they are for.

When Disney paid for me to go I got 104 3rd row. I don't know who you got your free tickets from Invero but you got hosed. I walked covered in chalk from the Areialists. Always try your best to be as close as possible. There is nothing like having a staring contest with a Cirque clown mid show.:)

Thanks for the clarification. Then I guess that they used to charge second tier price for those seats, but decided it was more reasonable to charge less because they weren't great.
