Depends on where in NPR. Some areas are nice, some are older, some are more trailer parkish. The River Ridge area of NPR has a neighborhood with it's own airplane runway but a few miles down the road in Moon Lake you have the creepiest, Deliverance-esque type people.
There's a lot of new construction going on in the SR 54 area of NPR. Especially now that the Veterans Expressway is open and can get people to Tampa easier and with the development of the Citrus Park area of Tampa which isn't a far drive these days either from NPR.
I went to HS in NPR, but I've been in Pinellas and now Hillsborough for the last ten years.
