A statue of Pleakley, from Disney's Lilo and Stitch arrived in Tomorrowland to provide our Guests with the opportunity to have their picture taken with him. Pleakley is located next to the Disney Vacation Club booth in Tomorrowland.

I saw this on the 17th. Right now it seems kind of out of place...but strangly fitting since he is in toursty clothing and next to the time share booth.

It was wired walking from space the other night to look left and BAM there he is just sitting there.

I thought he was there to help with stitch like the new plant statue of stitch is.

from the Eyes and Ears:

As the Magic Kingdom Park Cast prepares for the debut of the family-friendly attraction Stitch's Great Escape! this fall, enhancements themed to the mischievous alien and the film Lilo & Stitch are popping up throughout Tomorrowland.

A statue of Pleakley the alien now stands next to the Disney Vacation Club kiosk for Guest photos. The alien is dressed like a tourist, complete with a suitcase covered with Disney Vacation Club resort stickers.

A Stitch topiary seen at the 2004 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival now appears in a planter next to Mickey's Star Traders.

At the Merchants of Venus shop, Stitch T-shirts, stickers, magnets, plush figures, hats and more are available.

Watch Eyes & Ears for more developments as the Stitch's Great Escape! opening date draws near.
