I'd prefer Disney to spend $$ on the exsisting parks, but if there was going to be a new park I'd love to see a DisneySea as part of WDW. -Steph

Totally! But, The Disney Company did not have 100% doing with it, it was the other company (name slipped my mind) that did most of the work on it, if i am correct. It would be great to see that in the US as well, but with Eisner being a penny pincher, and a somewhat hard economy, I cannot see that beoming a reality for some time.
I agree that the existing parks need work too, rehabs and new customer pull-ins, but DisneySea would be a welcomed addition to the world.

the one question I have with Disney's America is if the US really needs a park based on itself? There was a place, Dogpatch USA based on the same, and it flopped. And DCA ? It's not doing super as well; its based on California and in California. If they marketed it well and didn't make it shabby or cheap, it may do well. I think if they are to build another park, it has to have a theme that no one has already made, or increase a small theme from somewhere. I dunno, just some opinions by "moi".

Yep, I would rather see the $800 million to $1 billion dollars it would take to build a new park to go into the existing parks. I've seen some people post "Five parks for each day of the week and then one day for a Water Park and or Downtown Disney" and that completes your one week vacation at the World. But I've come to believe that for a family with kids, it really takes two days to experience MK without feeling like you've been in marathon race. Epcot could almost take two days, as well.

Having said that, IF WDW were to do a fifth park, I would like to see an Adventure Park concept, where everything is based on the peak moments from Disney's most well known films. Prince Phillip facing Maleficent as the dragon, attack of the giant squid from 20,000 Leagues, Aladdin facing Jafar, Airel and Eric facing Ursula...you get the idea.

As a huge fan of the Disney Villians I would love to see a disney Villains ride. However due to me spending a lot of thinking time on this I did not just come up with a ride, I actually came up with a whole new park idea. Guests would enter the monorail to go to this new park. The PA system would say the usual annoucments and pretend to take guests to the Magic Kingdom. However during the monorail ride the guests would hear strange noises over the PA system and then hear a Disney Villian annouce that this is thier park now. Probably some villian like Hades or even Jafar, just stating that they have capture Magic Kingdom. When guests enter the park they will notice it is almost like Magic Kingdom only darker and not so happy. Once the have enter into the park, standing right in front of them, where Cinderellas castle should be, is a huge drak castle. This castle belongs to Maleficent, it would be based on her forbidden mountian castle from the Sleeping Beauty movie. Rides would take on a more thrill ride theming, though not too much as it would lose the Disney spirit. Rides like Test Track, even rides like Buzz Lightyear, Goofys Barnstormer, Dinosaur and of course sedated rides for all the younger adventurers. Each ride could be based on a different villian, for examlpe Ursula would have a water ride, Jafar could have a Rollercoaster in the form of a snake. I think a good idea for the main ride would be...

I love the premise of Mickey vs all the Disney Villains in Fantasmic. Maybe the villains could team up in a ride and try to punish the people on the ride. Kind of like the Spiderman ride, where they all attack the people riding. Using that the Villain ride could also be in 3D. I know it copying but think of the possibility. Imagine riding this ride. Hades could through a fire ball in your face, and you would feel the heat. Ursula could soak you in a whirlpool whilst you spin out of control. Scar could put you in the middle of a Stampede. The big finale of the ride could be Malificent turning into the huge dragon right in front of your face. I like this idea actually, hehe. Well I am only 18 so you cant expect a full detailed ride.

However the main attraction of this park would be at the end of the night. The park could have a show like fantasmic, a show that people are left in amazement. A show that shows Mickey, Alladin etc capture back the park from the Villians. This is only a very rough idea for a park but I love it. I know it wont happen but I can only dream of it.

rumor

Its also rumored that the other idea for the park is sports which i think would be weird. But its a good idea. If anything they should build one in the north east.

What a FABULOUS idea!! I love the idea of modeling it on the Magic Kingdom. That would just be incredible! I would love to see that.

I like the idea of the Villains park! They are usually the most exciting parts of the movies - why not bring them into the WDW parks? Tarbi, those were all fantastic ideas! It sounds like it would be such a fun park.

I don't know what I'd do with another park though. I'm in grade 10 so I can't miss much time from school, and we don't go for more than a week, I don't think we'd have enough time without skipping something else we really liked. That would probably be fine, but personally for me I think it would be best just to add to the existing parks. Maybe they could add another section like "Villainland" (Bad name, I know) to the Magic Kingdom.

in my opinion i say esiner should first be let go... but thats a different story after that they should use the money for the good of the exsisting parks but considering i should be giving my opinion on a new park i'll do that instead i would like to see all the old attractions come back w/ keeping the exsisting ones i have to say i am favored to the old attractions espically at epcot and i would like to see they back and i know i am not only if there is some hope to see horizons back i would be more than happy along w/ i know a whole group of other disney fans maybe the new park can be a past and present of disney bring in some new rides like a HMH or just a NBC ride etc. and bring some old favorites too including horizons and maybe superstar television from mgm thats another thing that stupid place is still standing w/ nothing at ds aka mgm can't they bring that show back it was sooo much fun and they always had a full house:sohappy:

The thing with TDS though is how do you think it would be designed? The Hotel Miracosta is essentially the park entrance and foreground.

In this hypothetical dream, do you think they would cut/paste the design of the Tokyo one to include the Miracosta as a new resort or forgo it for an entirely different entranceway?

TDS is also landlocked by Tokyo Bay so the layout of the attractions and sections are conducive to that. Whereas WDW has a ton of space and wouldn't have that worry.

Disney's Adventure Kingdom!

That would be so cool, it would be in direct compitition with Islands of Adventure and it would draw the thrill seeker to Disney, which Disney has had trouble with in the past. It would allow thrill seekers to visit there, and everyone else could visit there other parks. It would be awesome

What about building it on the coast of Bay Lake or Seven Seas Lagoon? That could be the "sea" or something.. I think it would be neat to have a new theme park (especially DS) built out back by the Wilderness Lodge....
