New Parade in Epcot for 2007?

According to Screamscape, Epcot will get a parade in 2007 which is its 25th anniversary. I know its Screamscape so it could be bogus, but they were right on with EE. This makes me wonder if Epcot will be the host park for the 2005 celebration, since it will host a celebration 2 years later.......unless Epcot's 25th isn't a whole WDW celebration.

Well, apparently ALL of Future World is changed for 25 years (ironic, no?) for "Discoveryland..." Apparently, several sources disagree with a new parade...but you never know!

Let us never forget Tapestry of Nations. I think that was the coolest parade Disney has ever done. I also seem to remember it being the only one Epcot has ever done. I'm sure someone can tell me for sure.

I believe it was the first "true" parade Epcot had. I think they have had things like processionals (spelling? lol), but never a full parade.

Hi all!
Tapestry of Nations was Epcots first and only parade (just a name change along with new costume designs for Tapestry of Dream but it was the same thing). I had the honor and privilage to work crowd control every night for this parade from January 2001 to June 2001, I have alot of friends who "help" the characters at all the parks now who were in Tapestry and they all tell me that the new parade will be unveiled sometime between 2005-2007. Currently they are trying to design floats that will fit through the gates of the countries (which will be a challenge since the gates at Meixco and Germany are not that big). The Disney characters will be in this parade and it will focus on "dreams" again! The characters from what I heard will start off the parade in their pajamas! Well take care, thats all from "Base Alpha" here!

i think the imagineers have it right, revamped FutureWorld plus a new 'Disney Character' parade (appeals to kids!) plus the most incredible fireworks show i ever saw is exactly what EPCOT needs.
The imagineers seem to have finally realised that EPCOT wasn't appealing to kids and teens since there is nothing to do apart from walk (well generally) in World Showcase. New parade and new thrill rides are excellent.

Can't wait for new parade, well done to the imagineers if/when it happens.

Thats IMMEDATLY what I thought too! Lets just hope that some of the puppets will stay.

ToN was the best parade ever. It had no characters to have a story to, so it was unique and very un-Disney.

hey light magic wouldnt have been that bad if they had pushed back the opening time so everything would have worked. and besides the music is awesome

Maybe I'm wrong and it was just a processional, but I remember a parade at the world showcase during the opening year with these bizarre characters with giant heads from various countries. I also remember some mimes along the parade route as they tried to pinch my mom's bottom. What I don't remember is if there were any floats, but i have a vague recollection that they did.
