New parade for Disney MGM Studios?

HI there, HO there,

I just wanted to let you know that we (http://www.dlp.info) have received information that several Imagineers from WDW were in the Walt Disney Studios at the Disneyland Resort Paris for a close look at the new Disney Cinema Parade which premiered yesterday. According to the word we got they are playing with the idea to make a copy for the Disney MGM Studios at WDW in time for a premiere in 2004.

Good news - does WDW MGM have a parade at the moment - if so what ???

yes mgm does have a parade right now called disney stars and motor cars...it ties in with the 100 years of magic celebration

I don't think they will let go of the Stars, Cars, & Motorcars for a while. It's been bringing in some bigger crowds...

By 2004 they might since there will probably be another big celebration by then. Think of a celebration completely devoted to the mouse...because he will be hitting 75 by the end of 2003 which would be the time for them to start one. So even though the Paris parade might not be the one they use, they may have another one just for Mickey. It all depends on how the play the celebration out.

Oh MAN, I haven't even seen the new ones yet... :brick: It kinda makes sense that they would do something new for Mickey's birthday, but I guess it'd be at MK, not the Studios. And I think Share a Dream fits the Mouse just fine. After alll, "it all started with a mouse"!

And besides, they may come up with some piece of junk like Mickey Mania... :hurl: The song was kinda cool, but the parade sucked big time.

But I gotta admit, the parade looks cool. I never saw Tink like this before, and it's great how they gave more attention to 101 Dalmatians. Hopefully they'll learn and use Lady and the Tramp and Aristocats more as well...

I can't quite see this happening until at least 2005/6... the rule seems to be to keep a parade at MGM for at least 3 years

My favorite parade was the Toy Story one. The army men were just so cool!

I like the new parade but the only other one i can remeber is the mulan one as we never started going to disney untill 98 but even then my family loved the mulan one. But i cant c them chaging the parade as it was said before this parade is bringing in crowds and that is what matters.

MGM Parade

Hey DisneyKrazed, the Green Army men are in the current parade. Many not as many as the old Toy Story parade, but they are there!

They also are in the parking lot but thats not enough for me. I can't get enough of them. There great!
