New Parade Coming to Epcot!

i think the costumes look very uncomfortable and somewhat dangerous...it looks like it'd be very easy to get hurt with one of those things strapped on.

On another note, this may not be popular, but do we HAVE to have a parade? I love epcot, its my favourite park (my wife's too) but we actively AVOID the parades. We prefer to just stroll (and munch) and it seems like evertime we turn around we're caught in a parade! I think world showcase is beautiful enough and doesn't need the extra pomp. But then again that's just me and i'd be happy for a short "parade free" time.

spectromagic has been running this time around since April 2, 2001... before that it ran from 1991-1998...

however, Light parades aren't generally performed every day, 2 times a day, and they also tend to garner better reviews from guests.

Why was tapestry preformed 2 times a day? It would have been fine just running once a day.

1-ToN was popular enough to warrant this

2-To give the cast a full shift

3-It's cheaper to have the puppeteers carry the puppets back than to drive them up
