AirTran Airways Steps Up Service From Orlando

- New Flights Bring the Low-Cost Carrier's Total Nonstop Destinations From Orlando to 30 -
ORLANDO, Fla., March 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI - News), announced today that it will expand its service from Orlando International Airport by adding new flights to San Diego, Calif., one of its recently announced new destinations. Effective June 29, 2007, the airline will introduce new flights two days a week between Orlando and San Diego. AirTran Airways recently announced weekly service to Portland, Maine, from Orlando effective June 9, 2007.

With the addition of these flights, AirTran Airways will offer Orlando customers 382 weekly departures to 30 nonstop destinations, constituting more departures from Orlando than at any other time in the airline's history.
