New Nighttime Parade (Open Brainstorm)

I'm hitting a massive roadblock with Nightfall Fantasy for Disneyland Brazil where I just run out of ideas after the second unit and it turns into SpectroMagic. I wanted an absolutely stunning parade with a stained glass aesthetic similar to Tokyo Disneyland's Nightfall Glow and I'm just stopped in my tracks with what to include. So, I'm calling on the Imagineer board's help with this one to make the most beautiful parade ever seen in Disney history. Go!

What about a Glass Aesthetics version of Elsa's ice castle like in Paint the Night, and is Baroque Hoedown part of the parade?

That would work. I've also decided on the obvious and will have a Beauty and the Beat unit. Baroque Hoedown will be part of the bridge of the parade's main song.

Neither. It's going to be a recreation of the ballroom dance with Belle and Beast on a huge float, with the stained glass windows from the movie on the sides.

So it uses the Hong Kong Disneyland music from the HK version of Paint the Night which has Something There, Beauty and the Beast, Be Our Guest? Like Frozen's float having Do you Wanna Build A Snowman, Let It Go, In Summer, and First Time in Forever?

Completely original arrangements that fit in with the parade's music but yes, Something There, Beauty and the Beast, and Be Our Guest. The Frozen float would have Vuelie, Let it Go, and For the First Time in Forever. However, I'm more concerned about figuring out what all is going to be in the parade before I think about the music in the loops. I really want a long parade with 15+ units just filled with performers. At the moment I'm thinking of using Nightfall Glow's opening float with Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Cinderella, Snow White, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and Brave but I haven't the foggiest clue what else to use other than Mickey and Friends at the finale.

There's Tangled, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, Inside Out, Princess & The Frog.

I like Inside Out, but I can't think of a way to match any of those other than Tangled and Princess and the Frog in.

Well for BH6 it could be like a illuminated San Fransokyo with Hiro & Baymax. Inside Out reusing the float from Pixar play parade with the memories light up, and animated screens of Riley's memories.

Ok but how do you make that fit in to something like this

My vision for how this parade uses light and color is very clear and I don't think using San Fransokyo or Headquarters would fit very well. I'm extremely hesitant about including a lot of properties, including Princess and the Frog, in the parade because of it. I'm also thinking about including Hercules, Mulan, and Pocahontas in as well, because I think the environments would be perfectly captured with how I want the parade to look. Tangled will absolutely be included thinking it through, after a recent rewatch.

Princess & The Frog has Mardi Gras plus the steamboat use in Soundsational could have lights along with Ray, and lit up fireflies.

Even then, nothing about Princess and the Frog really pops out to me as fitting in the parade like Beauty and the Beast or Cinderella does. Princess and the Frog as a film has a very plain color pallet, aside from the New Orleans, Mardi Gras, and Mama Odie scenes, which total up to about 40% of the movie's runtime. I'm thinking about iconic moments in this parade like Belle and Beast's dance or Bippity-Boppity-Boo. The most iconic moment in Princess and the Frog to me is Tiana wishing on the star which is primarily dark blue and silver, colors that do not show up well when lit. Beautiful as the moment is, I just don't think it would translate well to a night parade.

Maybe you could add Aladdin( flying carpet ride) and Lion King( pride rock with a rising sun or something). Also I'd love to see some villain presence

I already have an Aladdin float for the parade in mind with Aladdin and Jasmine flying over clouds with a lit up Genie similar to the Dreamlights float behind them. I didn't even think of the Lion King. My finale idea is Mickey and Friends on stained glass looking platforms and Mickey at the highest point with a massive sun and moon behind him, so I'm not sure the pride rock with the rising sun would work, however, Hakuna Matata or I Just Can't Wait to Be King would look really cool.

Hmm what about Tangled ( I See The Light and maybe glowing hair), Pocahontas ( colors of the wind in leafs) or maybe even Dumbo with pink elephants on parade.
