Here you go TDO. All set and ready to go. Change the nose cone a little and it is pretty much plug n play. Order 12 and you are good to go! : http://www.monorails.org/tmspages/TPInnovia300.html
Pretty easy to get a car on your own in early August too so the monorail can't be that popular outside of park opening and closings. How busy is the monorail during peak season? We usually go Sept/Oct and it is honestly pretty easy to get a car to yourself or darned close to it.
I am not sure there would be all that much that would really be upgraded by moving from the current Mark VIs to the Innovia 200s (formerly the M-VI). I would imagine the interior of the existing trains could be changed. It might even be possible to add the level entry doors to the Mark VIs, but the bigger expense would be raising all of the station floors.Too bad they couldn't upgrade them to the Bombardier MVI trains similar to the Vegas monorail (Plus they did used 2 MARK VI's in Vegas for initial runs) at least it has more of an open feel..And the technology came from WDW..
This model has been discussed before. As they current exist, the Innovia 300 series is too large for the clearances along the Walt Disney World Monorail System.

I do not know the heights off hand, but the issue is two fold. Not only is the Innovia 300 taller than the Mark VIs, but the floor of the cabin is also higher up from the top of the beam. This new train is, what, 3.55m high and 3.14 wide?
How big are the Mark 7s?
I remember reading somewhere that they had to do quite a bit of modification to the Contemporary just to fit the Mark 7s through there.

It'd be a big step for everybody. There is about a 10" difference in the top of beam to floor height. For comparison, a contemporary stair will have a maximum rise of 7".So much for stroller and wheelchair access, eh?
