I realize pictures from this time period have already been posted, but I just wanted to show my pictures with a strangely placed chair...that does give anyone who has not seen this attraction an idea of how large it is. Also, I was able to catch a glimpse of the black ride building, and it is rather large....they shouldn't have any trouble fitting in all the centrifuges along with a nice display and queue.

What? Not shots of SPACE gravel?!

Hehe.

I really find myself not wanting to look over the wall anymore. It's too much of a challenge now to get a good view. I have noticed that the various signs for the attraction have been re-covered, such as the Flight Training sign in your pic, and then the tarp that now cover the Marquee.

I wonder why this is...

Either to keep the rain from ruinging the paint or to keep guests from getting too psyched too early...and yes, that new construction wall position is annoying...very tough to sneak around. Actually, in that picture that looks like me peaking through a crack in the wall (which it is), I could see the entire new planet...but the camera didn't get it...:(

I saw that planet when the red one first appeared. It was sitting on a little circular base over where the trees and hill now are.. It had been brought out for some unknown reason and then dissappeared for a while. I actually watched it and the red one float through the air as they were set in place that day. It was nifty. I looks a lot like a cross between Neptune/Pluto and the Moon. Very rockey surface with what appears to be icecaps.

speaking of things being lifted in (drifting...I know), I saw the top of the Tree of Life being lifted in by helicopter from Blizzard Beach way back...very kewl!
