I was just reading in the new Brochure that they are or have add a meet and greet in France with Beauty and the Beast. And Nemo and friends are at the living seas. Is this true?
Thanks

We saw a robot version of nemo outside the living seas last year, and Belle was outside the restroom area in France meeting guests.

We were there in September and Beauty and Beast were in France to the outside of the perfume shop. Belle was great because she remembered my daughter from the Princess breakfast that morning and asked her if she ate all her breakfast.

As for Nemo, they didn't have any "live" characters but they did have some elaborate lawn ornaments to take pictures with.

They do have a meet and greet for Nemo where those "lawn ornaments" are located. Nemo at the very least comes out for pictures. I know one of our members here had a photo of it for her avatar awhile ago. If I can find a picture of it, I'll post it. As for Beauty and the Beast, they have had a meet and greet in France for awhile, so unless they have changed where in France they are doing the meet and greet, then this is nothing new.

The Beauty & the Beast character meet has been around for several years. Nemo has been around for awhile too.

I just met nemo in december. He's really cool.
Beauty and the Beast have been in france for years. Inside one of the buildings they have this nice little room with stain glass windows. I met some hunchback characters there but they switch off with beauty and the beast.

Also new is "Figment" over at the Imagination pavilion.

But perhaps the second best meet-and-greet in history (in my opinion) is with CRUSH over at the Living Seas. It's personal, extended, always repeatable, and extremely interactive!

(Second to Dreamfinder and Figment, if you wondered ;) )

Well it sounds like this might happen. I just found this articlewww.nytimes.com/generalgrizzm&g

Walt Disney World
Lake Buena Vista, Florida
by AP

"Walt Disney World is a place to share our dreams, hopes and desires. Our guests request many things they wish to see. This is a different one we have had to deal with," says Al Wiess president of Walt Disney World.

Beginning in 2005 at the recent refurbished Land pavilion a new meet n greet will be opening. It will feature the lovable and sometimes outrageous General Grizz in a new immersive enviroment. "Now that the fountain and baloons are history we can make the Land an exciting place for our guests to visit. We are all about plussing the guest experience and meeting our guests needs" says Michael Eisner president of Walt Disney Company "The general may have had some trouble in the past, but from now on we have been assured that he will keep his paws out of places where they don't belong.

There has been some outcry among the disney internet community that these cheap meet n greets are replacing the rides and attractions that the guests have been accustomed to. "It's ok" says Jim Garber, an avid Disney fan. " I have wanted to meet the General for along time. Now the magic has come full circle for me and my family. I look for special things when I am at Disney World and shaking the hands of Mr. Grizz would outweigh meeting my favorite character Thomas O'Malley."

Disney plans to add this meet n greet to many new attractions added for the company's 50th celebration. Disney is offering new vacation packages that are can be booked over the phone, on the internet or by calling your travel agent. Call 407-W-DISNEY, or try Disneyworld.com for more info. There has never been a better time to visit the parks and experience the magic that only Disney can make.

Belle and Beast seem to come and go in France.

In 2003 they were in France, then in 2004 there was only Beast. Part of the general m&g rotation I guess.
