That actually sounds pretty good for the Tree of Life. Not a Buggy pixar attraction.:dazzle:
I still haven't seen it's a bugs life but I do like the idea that it gets all the jumpy city people to realize that bugs have some importance to the world! But maybe that isn't even the point of the attraction - - guess I should see it!

Such a ride sounds doable and if done right, it could be a good ride. The biggest problem I see with it, though, is that I don't think it would fit into Animal Kingdom, as I don't see what it has to do with animals. It may work in Epcot, though.
Well, they have EE and that is loosely about animals - OK, it is about a fictitional animal. Mostly that area (IMHO) is about that part of the world and its relics and atmosphere. So that is why I figured the Taj Mahal because it would be a really incredible structure to replicate, much like they did EE, and then I could not think of what I would put in there. You could fill it with Lions or make it a restaurant for all I care! :slurp:

I'd like to see an area dedicated to Australia, New Zealand, and other Pacific countries.

An area based on the Arctic would be fun, too. Polar bears, walruses, seals, penguins... awesome!

Just head to Sea World. Done well there.

Kangaroos are already at Busch Gardens and they had a koala bear building for several years but ended up being kind of boring because all you saw them do was sleep. I don't think we ever saw one move.

Maybe an American animal exhibit with wolves, mountain lions, cougars, red fox, deer, moose, reindeer, gators, manatees, eagles, condors, black bear, polar bear, kodiak bears etc. Native animals you don't see in every state. Might even include Mexico,Central American, and maybe even South American native animals and make it just an American exhibit from all of the Americas since so many of the tourists are here from other countries around the world. We have a beautiful continent/continents if you include S America and we really don't showcase it when it comes to animal parks as much as we do the African etc. animals.

They are all kinds of ride possibilities that you could do from the oohs and ahs of some of our tamer cute native animals( when is the last time you saw a real chipmunk?) to being chased by a big angry moose. I see unlimited possibilities.

australia i would say would fit in perfectly at AK.

with aboriginy (sp?) artwork and instruments they could have and animals like koala bears and even though they have kangaroos more would be nice lol, they could even have snakes and insects too.

even though koalas are fragile i think if they did like a special tour where you could hold one properly it would be ace!

Here at the detroit zoo they have an exhibit with free roaming kangaroos and you get to walk right through it. Something like that with a Disney touch might be pretty cool too.

that sounds really cool having an exhibit where the kangaroos roam free, in AK im pretty sure there by the tree of life for anyone who hasnt seen them yet.

I am hoping they convert Dinoland into Austrailia by removing the un-Disney Dinorama (but keeping "Dinosaur")
Anything in this area besides Dinorama would be great. I really don't like walking through there and usually avoid it.

I think that something dealing with a colder climate would be nice - very different from the African desert / Asian tropics motif they have now. It would be great to see Polar Bears, penguins, reindeer - stuff like that....but that is just my two cents......

.... Let's not forget Penguins inhabit Antarctica... not the Arctic... Puffins do inhabit the arctic and are also quite cute...

You could add Emperor Penguins to and Australian exhibit, as they do vacation in Tasmania...

A woodland/forest land would sound nice and would be a bit desperate to the mostly jungle theme of AK and give some woodland animals some attention. After all Tree Of Life does have a deer carving.

They should make a Taj Mahal replica. I don't know what there is to do in the Taj Mahal and I am hoping I have spelled it right so the other thread does not come over here and police me. YIKES

If it did not cause too much of an uproar (and it probably would) it would be interesting to have a dark ride, much like SSE, that went over the world's religions with artificts, art and history. Not what the religion means, because that would just freak folks out, but with a cultural/educational slant.

Actually that sounds kinda boring but it could be made fun with a little Imagination...! :lookaroun

You must be channeling the original Contemporary resort wall paper. It contained a Taj Mahal out toward the roundhouse.
