New Jersey car owners needed! Help!

Okay, I know I'm an idiot for doing this, but I misplaced the title to my car. If anyone remembers what it may have come in (a textured large foldover envelope? With a plasticless window? Did it have red scrollwork on the border?) that would be a big help.

I put it where I wouldn't lose it. Now I have no idea where that may be.

hey mighty, you can get a duplicate title at the DMV if you have your registration and your license with you. It costs $15.

I know. But since I had originally financed the car, DMV requires a lien release letter from Ford Credit, which will take at least a week. I asked them to send it anyway, but I remain hopeful that I will find the first one, darnit!

LOL... Here's something that might help. Suppose you have something else, that you want to put away for safekeeping where you won't lose it. Where would you put it? Maybe that will help you think?

Well, tyler, I tried that.... so far all I come up with is one of the places I've already looked so I find it sooner! LOL! Thanks. I'll keep looking at let you know!

Thanks! I called Ford Credit and they had no idea what they would have sent the darn thing in!
