Actually, I got the second link to work and, wow, is it interesting. Not only can you find the old airport, but with a little manipulating, you can find all of WDW. The image is dated 1 Jan 2001, so it is fairly current. I didn't get a chance to really look at it yet, but it looks like there are some really interesting things there. Check it out, folks.

Global Explorer is way fun to play with.
I noticed that the 20k subs were still in the Pluto boneyard as of those images. Interesting..

Where is the Pluto boneyard? I've seen pics of it but I could never figure out where in WDW is it.

it's not a boneyard... it's a parking lot for salaried and office/technical CM's at MK. It's located across the street from space mountain, next to the contemporary

I know they've been gone for a couple of years, but I thought they were removed prior to Feb. 2001.

The back end of Pluto is sort of a boneyard, what with the subs, old SM rockets, and (I think) a couple old JC boats at one time being stored there.

The boneyard is almost right on the lake. Its near where they do the waterski and parasailing (spelling?) I had asked our monorail pilot what they had done with the subs and he didnt know. you can see some of the other watercraft in that picture as well. The old space mountain cars were back there at one time also. Do we have any castmembers that can get closer to it to take a pic? I'd really like to know where all the subs were taken.

For those who cant see the airport and want to see it, but the link does not work. Click on the 2nd link on the first post. If nothing shows up, type in this zip code 32830. When a picture comes up, ur be looking down at EPCOT. All you have to do is follow the Monorail track back to the Transportation Center. If you cant see the track, the Transportation Center is North-Northwest from EPCOT. Its going to be to the right of the monorail track, and there are no airplanes in the picture to help it stand out.
