New idea for off site vacationers.

Right now anyone can get and use magic bands and my Disney experience. However for off site guests this is not as easy as it should be unless they buy a season pass and for many that is not a good deal. What Disney should do is make deals with all the off site hotels and timeshares and give people who stay there the same rights season pass holders have 30 day advanced fast pass plus use. If Disney did this it would increase their market share of off site customers and overall profits.

Umm, but Disney doesn't want people staying off site. The main reason for this whole thing is to give people an incentive to stay on site.

Your idea completely contradicts the reason they've spent $2 billion on this MyMagic nonsense.

Anyone who has purchased tickets in advance does have 30 days in advance to book FP+. The only people who cannot book FP+ 30 days in advance are those who buy their tickets less than 30 days before their visit.

Even then, if you're under 30 days you get FP+ reservation access as soon as you buy your tickets. So you could buy them 3 days before your trip and get immediate access to making your FP+ choices.

Even if you wait to buy until you arrive, you can do same-day FP+ for that day and go in and pre-schedule the rest of your trip.

Also, to correct an additional point for the OP, using FP+ does *not* require Magic Bands anymore. As long as your ticket is RFID-capable (which any ticket sold in the past couple years is), you can link it to MDE and use the ticket itself to check into the FP+ posts.

I know they can use the system now, the problem is that they can't do it ealisly enough. I was suggesting they make it easier for the prospecticve customers by working with the hotel/timeshare. Right now most have on site ticket sales, let them do this in the reservation process, this is how the DVC works and its easy.

Also I always thought the reason for magic bands, fast pass plus and my disney experience was to give the customers more access to rides and attractions freeing up time so they can spend more. That would not be for just those on site but off site as well. As a stock holder I want Disney to make lots of money and give the customer a great value. I would like their market share to increase, not only on site but off site as well. Working with the rest of the hospitality industry in the area would allow Disney to greatly increase the overall attendance which is what I think they want. This would be a win for the Disney, the customer and the other hotels, almost everyone wins.

How exactly is it more difficult to use? Once your tickets are linked with your profile you can make reservations 30 days out. The only difference for a resort guest is they get the perk of 60 days out. But in both cases once tickets are linked reservations are possible once you reach your window.

FP+ is not meant to increase the number of visitors, it is meant to better distribute park traffic by creating artificial demand for less frequented rides and controlling and limiting FP distribution to more heavily frequented rides. People used to be able to grab 10-15 FP a day if they knew what they were doing, now they get 3 and have to book more one at a time after using all 3. This was done to decrease the FP traffic and to hopefully decrease overall wait times, while simultaneously allowing guests to pre book their experiences. If you read most of the reviews, the initial planning was stressful trying to figure out times etc, but once there people actually felt less stressed because they weren't running around trying to get fastpasses for all their favourite rides.
