what did everyone think about the new GB trailer? doubt it'll be as good as the original. I'm 50/50 on it so far. not a big fan of McCarthy, but McKinnon looks like she's going to steal this movie.

What makes me sad and a little mad is that Harold Ramis tried over and over again to involve Bill Murray in a Ghostbusters remake, but Bill always said no. But now that Harold is dead and a remake is happening, all of a sudden Bill's on board. I don't get it. And yeah, I don't like that trailer either.

sorry about that. thought I'd start a topic on it here in the movies section. although not a category for Disney movies, there is a thread on favorite horror movies. unless one throws in Lone Ranger or John Carter...

I really wanted this to be a sequel not a remake. The old cast handing off to the new cast. My only positive is that this might have less sex stuff in it and my kids might be able to watch it.

I was curious to see what the movie would be like and now that I have seen the trailer, its pretty much what I thought. It might be a rental but that is about it. Like @RandomPrincess I would have rather seen a sequel as there was no reason for a re-boot.

I'm a fan of Kristen Wiig but I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy this. GB is my bf's favorite movie and he's not happy. I guess I'll understand when the time comes to reboot Back to the Future (please never)
