It looks like they're spreading the new castle wall texture all around Fantasyland, or at least over Philharmagic opposite the view from the new walls :)

but the Alice in Wonderland walk way behind the Speedway and the new rustic fence in front makes me think the Speedway's days maybe numbered :(

great update though thanks for posting

How do you come to that conclusion? It is my understanding that they have been doing the Alice thing along that walk way for a couple years now.

Yeah, exactly. It's done for MNSSHP. It's a themed candy trail. They set it up that way just for the Halloween period and have done so for years and years.

Something I just noticed. In the pictures of Storybook Circus, Pete's Silly Sideshow, does it look like in the same area where they are showing the characters that you will meet (in this picture, it's Minnie Magnifique), there is a picture of what looks like "Strongman Pete". Does this look to you folks like Pete might get a Meet and Greet afterall? Is the perspective playing tricks on me and it's a totally unrelated sign, or potentially related to the other signs of Lambert and the Fantasia hippo?

It's related to those other signs (Lambert, Hippo) and not to the M&G ones.

Your right! The Minnie poster is in the back hanging on the blue poles for the meet and greet sign where as Pete’s sign is on brown wood poles. and Pete’s sign is also to the side of the yellow cart which is definitely in front of the minnie poster

I have to agree with an above poster. Not necisarily because of Alice in Wonderland, but the way the new fence looks (which looks great) makes me think that eventually Speedway is gonna go, and half the land will go to fantasyland and the other half to tomorrowland, giving a more distinct seperation in the two lands. In my opinion this segway of lands is the least defined of all the segways, except for Liberty Square and Frontierland, however, I look at Liberty Square as more of an extension of frontierland.

I dont think they will ever take the speedway land away from Tomorrowland. I feel like tomrorow land would have an extremely small footprint then and no way would there even be a chance to get another major ride. I think the speedway area is what will be used to bring tomorrowland up to par one day.

This is what I was thinking, the fence doesn't look very "Tomorrowland" but it's around A Tomorrowland ride, and that plus Alice behind makes it seem like Fantasyland is slowly swallowing up the Speedway.

I'd hate to see the Speedway go though, it's the only original opening day piece of Tomorrowland that's still there

its also the ugliest opening day piece of tommorowland that doesn't fit the theme. I think that if they put a ride on top with a large screen on the bottom of it that emulates day of time with a sun and sky or stars and the moon then it would be more futuristic. Almost like in walle.
