Whoa, thank you for sharing the link. You can really get a feel for the scale of FLE when the video was from the Dumbo ride. It looks absolutely great. I feel like every day it looks so much closer to completion. Things are just flying up.
I don't know about "huge." Everest is huge. The rolling hills of the Seven Dwarf ride are maybe 60 feet tall? Not huge. Appropriate for the family ride found inside.Woah, that mountain is going to be huge for Fantasyland.

I think the 'huge' factor will be in the overall footprint which is massive. Add force pespective and before Imagineering is through the thing will look like Everest.
I think that last part if a bit of a stretch. The size of this thing is nowhere near Everest. They can do a lot with forced perspective, but they are not miracle workers. It will look great I am sure, but it is still very much a Fantasyland scale project.
You continually try to make this ride into something it's not...and views like that will lead to anger in 2014 when what opens is not an E-ticket. Suggesting it will look anything like Everest is laughable. If WDI could make a 60 foot mountain look like Everest, we would have gotten a 60-foot mountain at Animal Kingdom.I meant the mountain in Nepal. :lookaroun

The Seven Dwarfs ride is NOT an addition to the Magic Kingdom Mountain Range.
Looking at that video, I can't help but notice the views of the big green show building from Dumbo. I also noticed that with the location of the second spinner, the show building will be front and center for those riding. There is no way Disney can let that building stay as is. What can they do though? Aside from planting a forest of fully mature trees?
Oh yeah, speaking of MK mountains, I really hope that one day they consider a radical option for Splash. I'd like to see the exterior removed and all the theming ditched. Then a new show building built that better suits the land it is in. Simply add a franchise that can better fit the area. Possibly a franchise not even thought of yet. Possibly based on a Native American legend or lore that could then be incorporated into an attraction. And no I do not mean another Depp animatronic from the Lone Ranger franchise.
Perfect fit for Pixar or Disney animation. IMO.
