Hello Everyone,

Well the first AP previews for the New FantasyLand is Nov 3 and I am sure some of the posters/members here will be attending. I wanted to get their reviews, comments, tips, and overall impresion of not only the area but the actual AP Preview event and experience. Hopefully they will give us insight and also answer some questiosn that we might have about the event. This will be especially helpful to those that will be attending the other previews next weekend, which I will admit I am one of them. Therefore I have a few questions, Will the only area to check in be at TTC as the e-mail states or will they be checking in guests at the entrance of MK or maybe even the entrance of New FantasyLand ? Will Be Our Guest be serving lunch or dinner, and if so what rooms were open? What attractions had fastpass available and what is the best "gameplan"? Of course any other comments, reviews, and tips will be greatly appreciated. Hope you all have a great time and post to share those experience here with all of us !!

Thanks !!

There are a lot of threads already from people who've been to the FLE.

I'm not saying you shouldn't have one, too!! Just that if you want info, there are plenty of threads full of it already. I enjoyed my first trips to the FLE and am happy for everyone who will be going soon. :)

Have fun, everyone!

What was the process like to get the wristbands? You just go to the T&TC and show your confirmation?

Do they give you a different colored wristband depending on if you are seeing Enchanted Tales with Belle or Ariel's Grotto?

How bad we're the lines to see Enchanted tales with Belle and the tour of Be our Guest?

Just got our wristbands for 12:30 enchanted tales preview for today. Very easy. Ours are yellow. I saw green wristbands also. Can't wait to see it.

I attended the soft opening earlier in October - and it was a much more pleasant experience to just go in and experience the area. As opposed to this morning, where it felt like being cattle herded from point to point. Our confirmation paper must have been checked three times at least. And the lines - from the TTC, to the designated entrance at the turnstiles, to the long line outside of Fantasyland to get in - it felt anything but special, in my opinion. If you have an option between attending a passholder preview - or waiting a couple weeks until it is fully open - I would personally wait....

Glad you were able to see it and that you enjoyed it. My post is not really about FLE, its about the AP Preview event. I am trying to get info from guests who will or have visited this weekend for that said event.

Glad to hear it was easy for you. I am interested to know about the logistics. Since your preview was at 12:30 did you enter MK and then had to exit and go to the TTC. That will be somewhat silly to make guest do. I have the 12:30 preview as well this upcoming Sat and I will actually being staying on-property so there is no reason for me to go to TTC unless they force me too, which again does not make sense to me. Regarding the time frame, how did they work out the issue with the different time frames. Did they ask the guests that time was already up to leave and not allow them to go to the attractions? Was Be Our Guest serving Lunch , and if so were you able to eat. Do you know if they served dinner as well. All info, reviews, comments and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks !!!

We are staying at Bay lake, so it wasn't convenient to go to TTC, but we had breakfast at O'hanas this morning so we just walked to the TTC after. There was no line at all at the TTC. For the preview itself, we got to the FLE entrance T noon and we showed the wristbands and our confirmation paper and went right in. BOG was serving lunch which was very nice. For us, we have a child in a wheelchair stroller and we also bring his walker so it was very nice to have the food brought to us. The detail in BOG was amazing. Never seen anything like it. They were also taking reservations for dinner and we got a 5 pm reservation. The entire experience was great for us. My kids loved the ETwB and VotLM. And the queues were spectacular. Again, amazing detail. You really felt like you were in the films. The ETwB is not a meet and greet. It is an attraction. Kind of like turtle time. Intimate shows and the kids got their pics taken with belle after the little show, but no time for autographs or time with her.

We also have the DVC preview on Monday. Will see if that is as smooth.

The process was that there are dedicated tickets booths at TTC where you show your confirmation, pass and ID and you get a wristband. Then you go to the entrance of the FLE and the cast members take your confirmation and keep it.

There actually were not different colors for the two itineraries. Once you were past the cast members at the entrance to the FLE everything was open to everybody.

Yesterday morning the AP guests had blue wristbands and the D23 guests had red.

Wait times for Enchanted Tales lingered around 45 minutes up until about the last 45 minutes and then dropped to practically no line. The lunch line for BOG started forming at around 9:30 for a 10:30 opening. I was not the first to order, but I was the first to get my food. Yay me. ;)

By 10:30 the lunch line was across the BOG bridge. At 11:15 the line just filled the armor hall.

We booked the Nov 3rd 8-11:30am preview. Decided to show up late since we had already attended a soft opening dress rehearsal in Oct. Arrived at the New Fantasyland area at 10am with no line at all. Showed wristbands and turned in the barcode paper and walked in. Walked right into Maurices Cottage at Enchanted Tales w/ Belle and waited for the next show.

We then walked thru the entire Mermaid queue area with nobody at all in front our behind us. Walked right onto the ride. Then walked right into Ariel's Gratto with nobody else around. The kids got to chat with Ariel for awhile.

Afterwards we sat around Gaston' Tavern courtyard with no crowds. Headed to Be our Guest Restaurant with about a ten minute wait in line in the armory room. Full lunch menu being served and you could sit an any of the three dining rooms. By far the best quick service meal at Disney anywhere.

We stayed in Fantasyland until 1pm. The whole process was flawless. And there seemed to be about 75% less crowds in the area then during the soft openings.

I think the odd thing to me was that there was the big deal of choosing your itinerary when you signed up, but once you got there you could do whatever you wanted..

I guess Disney just decided that once in, just to let everything be open...which was great!

Secondarily, I will say as a local (which I still cannot get over saying), is that I expected something a little "special". Now, I cannot say what, and it could be easy to say a small commemorative gift...but even limited edition merchandise...maybe an Imagineer or two around answering questions or telling stories.

As it turns out, my wife and I had already experienced everything before the AP preview....

We were still happy to be there, just slightly disappointed...
