What are your thoughts about the new Gondola Skyliner system at WDW? Here is mine: I think it is a good idea for transportation between the parks and the resorts, however, I can see a problem that it might have. During the summer in Florida it rains and lightings frequently, so when there is lighting it will have to be shut down. When I worked at WDW we would shut down many outdoor attractions for weather and we would have to wait 20 minutes after the last lightning strike to re-open, so I can see this happening to the gondola system during the summer and causing guest wait times being longer.
