BURBANK, CA.(BUSINESS WIRE) -- get ready for twice the excitement! Two all-new adventures, 101 DALMATIANS II: PATCH'S LONDON ADVENTURE and INSPECTOR GADGET 2 will both premiere ONLY on Disney DVD and VHS in 2003, from Walt Disney Home Entertainment.

Disney's irresistible classic 101 DALMATIANS continues in the delightful, all-new animated movie 101 DALMATIANS II: PATCH'S LONDON ADVENTURE, premiering only on Disney DVD and video on January 21, 2003. This one-of-a-kind adventure boasts an all-star cast that includes such talented vocal stars as Jason Alexander (TV's "Seinfeld"), Barry Bostwick (TV's "Spin City") and Martin Short (Disney's "Treasure Planet"). All of the lovable Dalmatians return, including the delightful Patch, the star of this new movie. In this sequel to the original animated classic, Pongo, Perdita and Patch are joined together with a new hero, Thunderbolt. Of course the Dalmatians' beloved human family, Roger and Anita, join the fun and so does that dastardly villain Cruella De Vil. "British Pop Idol" winner Will Young sings the upbeat song "Try Again" for the movie, and a special music video of the song is included in the DVD edition.

More laughs and thrills are in store with Disney's INSPECTOR GADGET 2, premiering on Disney DVD and VHS on March 11, 2003 from Walt Disney Home Entertainment. Featuring the further adventures of one of Disney's most popular live-action characters ever, INSPECTOR GADGET 2 features the all-new "G2" -- the newest "gadget," a robot who may be the Inspector's newest girlfriend! On DVD INSPECTOR GADGET 2 includes many behind-the-scenes bonus features such as deleted scenes and audio commentary from the director and cast, family-friendly set-top game and the Rose Falcon music video "Up, Up, Up," the catchy end-credit song recorded specifically for this movie.

101 DALMATIANS II: PATCH'S LONDON ADVENTURE

In 101 DALMATIANS II: PATCH'S LONDON ADVENTURE, Roger, Anita and their canine clan are packing for the big move to Dalmatian Plantation, a home in the country with plenty of room for the 101 pups and far from the clutches of Cruella De Vil. The feistiest pup, Patch (Bobby Lockwood), feels lost in a sea of spots and longs to be a one-of-a-kind wonderdog like his TV hero, Thunderbolt (Barry Bostwick). While watching the Thunderbolt Adventure Hour, Patch hears about a chance to appear on the show while it's filming in London. When he's accidentally left behind in the family move, Patch takes the opportunity to audition for his favorite TV show and meet his hero.

Meanwhile, Thunderbolt's conniving sidekick, Lightning (Jason Alexander), reveals that the producers of the show want to replace Thunderbolt with a younger dog. In order to save his job, Thunderbolt decides he will go into the real world and perform an act of true heroism to prove himself. A veritable reference book on Thunderbolt's many adventures, Patch provides the perfect guide for the TV star in his attempts at real-life heroics.

As for Cruella De Vil (Susanne Blakeslee, Disney's "Cinderella II: Dreams Come True"), she's back and more obsessed with Dalmatians than ever. At first, she's able to calm her frenzy as the muse to a spot-fixated artist, Lars (Martin Short). But ultimately, her diabolical scheme to kidnap Patch's family enables Patch and Thunderbolt to discover their inner strength and save the day. Together, they learn that Patch really is a one-of-a-kind wonder dog and Thunderbolt is a real life hero.

On Disney DVD, 101 DALMATIANS II: PATCH'S LONDON ADVENTURE will include:

Gadget (French Stewart) and his trusty dog, Brain, and all seems well. When Gadget's many crime-fighting "accessories" go awry, however, he reports for a check-up -- and finds himself taking a backseat to Riverton's newest crime-stopping robot, G2 (Elaine Hendrix). Gadget's thrown for a bigger loop when he finds himself attracted to his robotic rival. Gadget's niece Penny (Caitlin Wachs) announces that she's taken up fighting crime as well, but that's not enough to stop the new threat to the city -- the villainous Claw (Tony Martin) has escaped prison and is back to his dastardly ways. Soon, Gadget, G2, Penny and Brain pull out all the stops to stop Claw -- before it's too late for Riverton!

Here's hoping they're good. I saw the trailer for 101 Dalmatians, and it looks promising. I never saw Inspector Gadget, but I really think French Stewart is WAY funnier than Mathew Broderick, so...
