The park is open until 7, party goers can enter before that
You are right. I was there last year though when they closed the park at 4 for a private party for the cast members. I guess I was thinking about that. Hmmm not sure if the crowds will be that low then. Anyone been there on party days and know what the crowds are like during the day?

Sebastian’s Bistro at Caribbean Beach Resort is served family style and a really good meal. Plus, if you’re at Epcot or HS you can hop on the Skyliner to get there.

We usually stay at the Yacht & Beach Club and it is mostly because of dining. Not only are the Y&BC restaurants great, but the Boardwalk and Swan have great dining. I love the Four Seasons dining, Grand Floridian (Narcoossee's & Citrico's) and the California Grill in the Contemporary.

We always quite enjoy The Garden Grill at Epcot Land Pavilion. Always a good experience with the characters, the menu is seasonal (ish) and there is always plenty. Always a go to.

These last few years we have bucked the trend of needing ADRs and opted to see what was available at the time we got hungry. This has pushed us to try restaurants that we may have never tried simply because this board and other similar sites didn't "recommend". We were pleased with the options we had - as long as you are aware that this is Disney food and not some gourmet restaurant (aside from V&As).
I am curious how this worked out for you. I feel like on my next trip, I will also roll the dice. Which restaurants ended up being available?

I think it worked out very well. Strangely enough, 'Ohana was available (which we snagged) two times at a time acceptable to my family as dinner time - never before 5:00 and never after 6:30.

Granted, 'Ohana isn't a restaurant we have never tried before - but funny that it comes available closer to dinner time as people who booked it 60 days out and their plans got away from them begin to cancel (not once, but twice).

Rose & Crown, Tony's Town Square, Crystal Palace, the list goes on........... The only restaurants that didn't pop up with availability were prepays, like Cinderella's Table and the like, for obvious reasons.

I am not advocating doing this if this is your first time at WDW.

This is great to know. Definitely not my first time and I'm flexible with where to eat. I think it would bring back the spontaneity and make choices less overwhelming.
