I've been looking for a forum for people who have done this, and look what I found. YAY!:ROFLOL:

Anyways, so yeah, I just got accepted into the Career Start Program at WDW. I will be in Merch.

I have a few questions for people who have done it before.

1. What do you suggest I bring, what should I buy once I'm there?
2. My arrival spot is Vista Way, does that mean I will be living there?
3. What should I expect?:lookaroun
4. What was the hardest part?:brick:

I'm sure I will have more, as it gets closer to my arrival date!
I'm terribly excited!!! :) if anyone else has my arrival/departure dates (see profile) Let me know also!

I'm going into Merch also! Who knows, maybe we'll end up working together! I arrive the 27th of January.

And Vista Way is only the Arrival point. While there, they place you in one of the three apartments.

Most definately! I am super excited about going. The arrival date is three months away, and I'm already planing things out. Lol. I have never been to Disney Land, so this is going to be a HUGE experience for me. :sohappy:

1.there is a list on the website of things to bring but make sure u bring things like a lunch box(will save you money), games for you and your roommates to play(when ur not sleeping or working hehe).

2. No, you will find out where you will stay when you get to vista way. All new cast members in the program meet at vista way. You will also find out the size apartment you will be living in and the number of the apartment.

3. Expect to have fun of course! Also expect long working hours, little sleeping hours. For example, I worked in Epcot at Mouse Gear and I had to be at work at 5am in the morning. If you can bring your own car I would recommend it because waiting for the bus can be a hassel sometimes.

4. The hardest part for me was leaving:lol:! The long hours and little pay can be hard but as long as you keep living the magic and remember the you are making the magic happen then you will have a blast. It was the best experience I have ever had. I learned so much from the program. I hope you have a magical time!
