New construction at Epcot over by Morocco?

Hi everyone, I'm new here. My husband and I were at Epcot this weekend and noticed a large structure is being built behind the World Showcase, kind of over by Morocco and Japan. Does anyone know what is being built? My husband thought it might be a new pavilion for a new country, or perhaps a ride? Thanks!

After I posted that I went onto google and found this article about a new restaurant that supposedly is planned. Skyliner gondolas sound more exciting, though! https://www.orlandoweekly.com/Blogs...urant-to-one-of-epcots-most-popular-pavilions

Yeah it was confirmed back at the beginning of May, there's a new restaurant coming to the Japan pavilion (name and location currently unknown), there is also a space-themed restaurant going between Mission: Space and Test Track. But the construction you see is for the Skyliner.

The large building is for Ratatouille, not the Skyliner. The Skyliner station is over at the International Gateway.

I read the OP posts as "behind" not "by," in that case, it would be Ratatouille construction in the France pavilion. My mistake. Getting my sightlines by memory mixed up.

They’re both behind World Showcase (and get relatively close to each other), but Skyliner is just towers in that area.

True. For some reason, I always remember France as on the other side of the canal and International Gateway and forget it's on the Japan/Morocco side of the canal.
