New Comedy Ideas and rehab for Jungle Cruise

as we all know, the JC is not meant to be exciting, thrilling, or educational. it is merely meant to be SILLY, FUNNY, ANNOYING, and SARCASTIC.
This ride as I think everyone agrees needs a MAJOR rehab, with much needed new animatronics, and not wooden butterflies that barely flap their wings. BUT LETS ADD SOME DISNEY FILMS TO IT IN A COMICAL WAY.
not to overtake the original ride, just brief, and VERY brief cameos, like the animals are out in the wild.

Baloo could be just scratchin his back on a tree whistlin' Bear Necesseties.

Robin Hood and Little John caught getting ready to rob the next boat that comes along.

Pumbaa and Timon just strolling through singin' The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Penguins from Mary Poppins with signs saying HELP US...STRANDED...COLD OR BUST!

One of the hippos from Fantasia in a ballerina skirt tip toeing into the hippo pool.

Dumbo in the Elephant pool?

Captain Hooks hook hanging from a tree, or in the mouth of one of the crocodiles?

King Louie from Jungle Book and Abu from aladdin

Tarzan up in a tree?

in the ape village, throw in Turk from tarzan.

anyway, if you like this, throw in your ideas, I would love to read them! I know this is a classic ride and probably shouldn't be changed at all, but its fun to think about.

I belive disney doesnt need a Cameo of any sort to bring the JC to life. If they can make other rides more exciting.. Then they can " Rehab" JC and make it more enjoyable.. I for one wont be riding it for a view of Dumbo swimming in the elephant pool. Etc..

I may just be a purest, but honestly that really does not seem to work with the ride at all and destroy the storyline, it has a "realistic" storyline and to throw that in just seems like a bad idea IMHO.

Although you have complied a nice set of various comical animal scenes from Disney movies, my thought would then be, make a new ride based off this concept, it could go in Camp Mickey-Minnie at AK. If the parade Mickey's Jamin Safari gets replaced in the near future I think that you could translate the name to this new ride. Basically you would board either Safari boats or jeeps on what was supposed to be Mickey guiding you on a safari but in the pre-show you learn he gets a little preoccupied in some comic manner so one of his friends will take you, that friend could be then a CM tour guide/ or a different scenario is Mickey could be your guide from a remote location via a video screen and the boat/Jeep would be on "auto-pilot" through the course of the ride you would venture through a comical toon jungle filled with AA scenes of all what you have described above.

A little tweaking to your scenes to not make it so derivative from JC and I think you could combine it in the fashion I have described and make a very neat ride indeed.

I must admit, i kind of didn't like my own idea of adding too much Disney to the JC, but i def. think if it will be around for years to come, it needs a MAJOR rehab!

I like the idea of putting such an attraction in AK. It would be really fitting and it would provide a more child themed ride.
