 It looks like sci-fi is going to be a large part of this show...what with the whole alien stuff...

I can't stand it when Disney puts sci-fi stuff in their shows. To me, that ruins it right there!!!!!! When I think of Disney animation, I CERTAINLY don't think sci-fi. Even if they keep doing sci-fi in shows, I still won't think it Disney. (Of course, if they keep up at the rate they have been going, in a few years Disney animation might be a thing of the past...and then a person would have to wonder why!)

A rather cute and funny scene from the movie is now available from yahoo movies at http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/chickenlittle.html titled "Dodgeball". Besides "Runt of the Litter" which I still thinks looks too "plasticy", the rest of the characters really very good. Watch the way the fur moves on the furry characters and the way Chicken Little's feathers move around and how they look "fluffy". I must say for Disney's first fully animated CG film, the quality at least looks to be there. As a side note, I've heard that Disney's animation unit has developed some really cool programs for future films American Dog and Rupunzel Unbraided that help blend the use of CG animation with the look of more traditional 2-d style animation.

Honestly, sci fi?! It's a cartoon with a talking chicken! And all of his animal friends talk too! This sounds Disney like to me!! I really am not worried-- the presence of aliens will only make it funnier-- in no way will they take it the sci fi route and make this film creepy. It is supposed to funny!

Why are they making Chicken Little run around in his underwear?! That's something you'd see in Rugrats, not a Disney movie... VERY un Disney. I'm liking this film less and less...

I just don't see how anyone can be so negative towards this already...please. Every preview and trailer has shown quality and has had me laughing.

Believe me, it takes a whole lot to make this 40 year old giggle, but what I have seen so far has.

From what I can see, this movie (In my opinion) is what they need to revive thire animation division. So far it's already funnier than most other disney movies, and I believe that will play to its advantage. Not to mention the animation is of amazing quality, that of which I think rivals PIXAR.

how often is he in underwear?? most of the time, he is wearing those cute little outfits-- a dressed up chicken makes it that much funnier!

It looks good, I think this is what they need to boost Disney's box office sales. Despite the fact that their Touchstone films have done well, the one that have been released under the Disney label haven't done well. This could be the one that starts another string of hard-hitting disney movies in the next decade.

I came here to post the same thing! I really don't feel like waiting anymore! It looks really great--- they did a great job with this one. Less than a month away at least....

Chicken Little has received a very, very favorable review from Richard Corliss of Time Magazine it would appear. Hopefully, Disney worked very hard on the script in this movie rather than just the effects. That is why Pixar has been so successful and Disney has not over the past 6 years or so.

well they seem confident. they have been hyping this movie like no other-- i'd have to assume it is because they are proud of the final product. speaking of hype, they have this cute little riddle thing I thought I'd share. Go here http://movies.msn.com/movies/FamilyFilms/ChickenLittle?
and click on the Chicken Riddle link-- it has all of these interesting facts. Like-- who knew the TRex was related to the chicken?!?! Anyway, it's cute.. and a little educational!
