But this can't be true. "All they're doing is replacing the guns, replacing the targets, and adding one figure (whose complexity of motion will likely be small). It has more issues than will be addressed by this refurb." 😉

While I certainly think there are things I am not happy about with the running of the parks, one thing I have been happy to see is a return to "plussing" things which has long been absent at WDW. (DLR has tended to get more love, though even there it has been hit or miss)

Relatively minor changes like this for Buzz are the types of investments that are good "bang for your buck" for the parks.

with the media event there was a lot better photos available later..
And others..

It's hard to tell from the photos, but I wonder if they will still have the fluorescence /UV reactivity the old ones had. The red paint in particular looks more muted - but could just be lighting/camera.

Could take or leave it but would rather leave it. Never was a fan of the florescent vehicles. I think it'd be more immersive and more intimate (for lack of better word) without. Why would you want to take attention away from the scenes? It's hard to explain but the difference is apparent when comparing say HM doombuggies and Little Mermaid's clamshell cars. One is immersive and the other takes you right out of it. Same applies here. I never liked the UV-reactive vehicles. Cheapened the experience, IMO.

The whole thing is like being in an arcade game with toys... so it fits the experience IMO. The whole thing is a shooting gallery, not so literal of trying to be some realistic sci-fi place. I mean.. Buzz's whole story with Zurg is a made up plot for the toy and he relives it in his imagination. Here we are playing along in one of those plots kids play out with their toys.
