Has anyone heard about the "Buy your flight through Disney, recieve one ticket free" deal? My friend says she got a letter about it. We assume you have to buy atleast 2 tickets and you must pay using your Disney Visa. Any extra knowledge? The guy I talked to with Disney Reservations had not heard about it.

I just went thru the Visa site and did not see that offered. Was there a special code to use?

I have the insert at home (I can bring it to work Monday and scan it if you'd like), BUT what it says is:

Since Chase has taken Disney Visa over from Bank One they are offering a welcome gift. If you make a purchase of $400 or more now thru the end of July you will receive a companion airline voucher to either DisneyLand or WDW to be used by 11/30/06.

So, I had to renew my termite policy and instead of writing them a check - I used my card. Waiting patiently for my voucher.

Very smart move. Had I known I would have done the same thing.

What is a "companion airline voucher". I have never heard that term before.
I am planning a trip to WDW in January for just me and my friend.....we were going to book airfare this weekend. I'll just pay off my college tuition with my Disney card and get this voucher thing! (It has to be one single purchase of 400, right? Not an accumulation?)
Thanks!

A companion ticket is not really worth it! You need to purchase one ticket a full price and the other one is free. Next time you book a ticket, check out how much a full price ticket is. It ranges from $400-$600 RT from Boston. You can buy a discounted ticket for the same time for $150-$200 RT.

They had a speacial Meet n' Greet at DCA for cardmembers. We got two free pics with Mickey and Goofy.

I have recieved one of those vouchers for a free airline ticket, you don't really save a lot of money..

It may not be good deal from Boston, but it's a fantastic deal from Richmond.

I can doublecheck when I get home tonight and let you know if its a single $400+ purchase or an accumulative.

I just sent my daughter to DL and it cost $420.00 PLUS ($50 each way for an unaccompanied minor). So to me, if I get a free airline ticket when I purchase a $400 one - I'm good to go. Orlando is anywhere between $120 and $200 depending on whether I can get lucky or not.

If I don't use it - what have I lost. I had to renew my termite policy - this way I get a little bonus :sohappy:

A friend of mine called Chase about the companion ticket offer. Apparently only certain individuals are receiving this ticket offer. I have not received one yet. I am still very interested to know if it is one purchase for 400.00 or several purchases that equal 400.00. Anybody have one of these offers that could let us all know?

I charge thousands of dollars on my card every month and they have sent me NONE of this. What is their criteria for choosing who receives these offers? I've had my Disney card since day one.

I received the ticket offer last week. It's a one time purchase of $400.00 or more. For us from Wisconsin, it's a good deal.

Ya know all those extra little papers in your billing statement each month that you throw out like the rest of us?

Those are the offers!

Check them out next time you get your statement. They (or similar ones) are in the statement EVERY month!

But some of us cancelled the paper bill to save some trees and do their payments online. I only received the email with the three offers. I never get any kind of special offers that I hear others do. A free flight voucher would be nice since it is $250 per person for 4 of us this year. Makes driving look nice.

The offers I mentioned on page 1 came from an e-mail I received from Chase Visa. In order to receive the e-mails, you would need to create an online profile. This online profile can be used to view your rewards dollars, see your current statement, view offers and pay bill online. You can setup the account to automatically e-mail you of new news as well!

The free companion ticket is not mentioned on the site though. Like someone else mentioned, I believe this is for select card holders.

Unrelated...has everyone ordered their new card! There are four new designs: Mickey & Friends, Bambi, Classic Mickey and Disney's 50th Celebration (my pic).

You can see the cards here:
http://www.firstusa.com/cgi-bin/web...sney_15giftcard_ch01_6m&page=cont&mkid=602961

To order a replacement card, call the number on the back of the card and tell them which one you want!

Please note, if you choose a new card, it will no longer say Member Since Day 1 (If this applies to you)!
