Hi,

Never mind. I was under the weather today and I've got cranky. Sorry about that.

Disney is in saving money mode. There isn't any real difference between Disney animation and Pixar anymore. Pixar's brain trust has pretty much left. (or escorted out). Pixar is just a brand no different from Touchstone or Hollywood Pictures.

Hi,

I hate to sound like a doom and gloom again, but I briefly watch WDWPro’s awful video about the end Pixar, because Elemental is going to flop. Is this the end of Pixar? 😢I’m sorry, I can’t help it.
Stop with the "end of Pixar" stuff. Pixar will survive, as discussed before the brand and IP are too valuable to Disney.

But why do we care if Pixar goes belly up? Disney will still make animated movies. It is just the layoffs I guess. No one cared when Blue Sky was derezzed by Disney.

Some cared about Blue Sky, maybe not as much as Pixar or WDAS, but there were fans. It's the same today with illumination, if that got shutdown by Comcast most wouldn't care but you'd have the fans that cared.

As for Pixar, whether Disney will continue to make animated movies is not the point. Some don't want the entire studio merged into WDAS.
