Nervous about MNNSHP date..

We planned the 25th of Sept.. but now as I read more I'm worried that this one may be busier. Trying to decide if I should change plans around and go the 18th or the 21st..I was avoiding the 21st because it is a Friday..but maybe that reasoning is flawed? Any input would be great!

have you bought your ticket? if so keep the date. the ticket is non refundable or transferable. if you haven't i would go earlier if you can. friday/ saturdays are more crowded because of school age children going. but anyways its really up to you.

The 18th and 25th, being Tuesdays, I would think would be OK. (I agree making it for a Friday would be tough) I would stick to your original plan. Ask yourself, at this late date for dining plans, would you want to chance it? If you're like me, you have already set your vacation schedule. The 18th might be less busy, but if you kept the 25th, your dining plans won't be a concern.

We are also going the 25th. We always go right about this time every year and have never found it overly crowded and it gets better as the night goes on and people leave. I never understood why people would pay the extra money for the party and then leave by 9-10. Seems like a waste to me but whatever, it makes it even better for me. I have literally been told to just stay seated if I wanted to keep riding more than one major ride there later in the evening. You will have a great time!

Lucky! I would love to be there twice but I have a hard enough time convincing my husband to buy tickets for us for one night.

My wife and kids insist on two nights. I'm happy with 1 night but I have no problems going twice. Shoot, after this last September, it's almost necessary. It took us an hour last year JUST to get the 7 dwarfs picture.

Agree about people paying $60 to attend the party and then leaving early.

With regards to attractions, however, lots of people (myself included) rarely ride attractions at the hard-ticketed events. I try to spend my time doing the things you can't do during regular operating hours, like the special meet 'n greets, parade, fireworks, Mix 'n Mingle, trails, etc. It all depends on what you're hoping to get out of the party, I guess.

We are going on the 18th for two reasons. First, It's a Tuesday night and we figure it being a weekday it should be a smaller crowd. Second, we've finally got ADR's at Ohana (first time since 09), and what better night can you ask for than Ohana for dinner then MNSSHP!

We plan to have an off day at the resort then come in around 6pm to the party and let the kids stay as long as they can handle it! I've decided to just let the cards fall where they may..if it's busy it's busy!
