Need to switch a booked trip

Looking for a little advice, or past experiences with a similar situation.

My use year starts in June, and I recently booked a trip for April 2009. Everything was fine, but then I found out that I have to switch the trip to October 2009 instead for work reasons.

The question I have is: do you think there will be any problem with switching that trip from April to October? I know that I can't really call to switch it until November of this year since that will be 11 out.

Has anyone had a similar issue before?

As long as there's availability (which there certainly should be at 11 months), there's no problem at all in changing your dates.

I've changed dates, changed resorts, added an extra villa to the reservation, changed room types - never a problem.

Thanks Lynne... that's what I figured was the case, but I wasn't 100% sure
